Serdar Urçar appointed as General Manager for Netaş International Markets
Serdar Uçar has been appointed as the “International Markets General Manager” for Netaş, the leading system integrator in Turkey and the region.
With the new shareholder ZTE Cooperatief U.A., Netaş is more ambitious in international markets and aims to be an even stronger player with the objective to become a global technology brand.
Assigned as Netaş International Markets General Manager as of 7 March 2018, Urçar will be responsible for sales, projects, and solutions in external markets for Netaş. International Markets Project Directorate, Products and Solutions Directorate, and Sales Directorate of Netaş as well as Sales Support Teams will report to Urçar. Furthermore, all on-going operations in Algeria, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Morocco will be under Urçar’s responsibility.
Having begun his career of 25 years at Karma Bilgisayar in 1993, Urçar worked for Superonline and Hewlett-Packard for years at senior positions. He served as HP Turkey General Manager between 2008-2013 and as Region Director responsible for Sales and Distribution Channels and SMEs for HP MEMA (Middle East, Mediterranean, Africa) between 2013-2016. Following his experience in HP, Serdar Urçar worked as the Advisory Board Member responsible for Digital Transformation for Index Group.
Serdar Urçar graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration in 1990 and he holds an MA degree in European Policy and Economy granted by Jean Monnet Institute of the same university.
Serdar Urçar is married, with two daughters.
