Operators test 5G in Netaş laboratory
Being the leading digital transformation company in Turkey, Netaş performed 5G Universal demo of the operators in Netaş 5G Laboratory in Kurtköy, Istanbul with its partners Aselsan and Argela in ULAK project. Very successful 5G speeds were achieved in the speed test. In the 5G test, 70Mbps downloading and 21 Mbps uploading speeds were achieved.
In the Kurtköy 5G laboratory of Netaş that is the architect of Turkey's digital future, a 5G Universal demo was performed with the participation of the Ministry of Transportation, Maritime and Communications, Turkcell, Turk Telekom, Vodafone and the Undersecretariat of Defense Industry on March 15th. In the 5G tests, while 5G base units produced for ULAK were demonstrating their efficiency, three operators to use them achieved successful results in 5G.
Within the scope of ULAK Project, according to the tests conducted together with Netaş, Aselsan and Argela, nine cells were achieved in one baseband unit (BBU). Nine cells were serviced with 1 BCCA, 1 BBCA and 6RRUs. User equipment (UE) of the three operators that is receiving service via 1 sector was able to receive service successfully from the system, and these operators performed data transfer at 70 Mbps downloading speed and 21 Mbps uploading speed in the 5G test they participated at the same time.
