Our laboratory boasts unique facilities in Turkey and has been created with long years of know-how and a large investment to perform tests for both military and commercial communication systems. As a result of these tests, corrective operations are implemented if necessary, on products to achieve high reliability and quality.

All testing, measurement and control equipment in our laboratory are recorded and controlled by the numbering system. In order to achieve expected measurement tolerances, all equipment and devices are calibrated by laboratories with national and international traceability, in accordance with annual programs within pre-defined periods.

IP/ATM/ISDN Switching and Routing Products:

The main switches of the Tactical Area Network solution system, these provide end-to-end IP routing, ATM and Ethernet switching, ISDN and X.25 package switched data communication. These switches, namely MSAP (Mobile Subscriber Access Point) and SAP (System Access Point) act as an IP router and a VoIP gateway. These products support ISDN, ATM and IP infrastructures and provide encrypted and unencrypted voice, data and video communication service for users. They offer both synchronous and asynchronous data communication as circuit-switched service and X.25 and IP communication service as package-switched service.

Digital Area Switch:

It is a multiple service communication key developed to provide effective and seamless communication on the tactical and strategic area. It is a communication system based on ISDN technology for the purpose of real-time voice, data and video transmission on area conditions. It has built-in battery and its lightweight and small size makes it portable and quick to install. It provides many PBX features such as voice message, conference for six participants, displaying caller ID, priority call starting/cutting.

Integrated Access Switch (TES):

It is a Media Gateway and Package Switching/Routing device designed and developed for challenging conditions in order to serve at the tactical area. TES meets the communication needs on the tactical area by providing secure voice, data and video communication services to users. The connection with the main communication backbone is achieved with a Fiber Optic Gigabit Ethernet and user terminals can be connected to 24 units of Power over Ethernet interface. PRI connection allows connecting to PBX and commercial networks and it is also possible to interconnect multiple TESs over satellite through V35 interfaces. IP data traffic can be transported through all these connections.

Fiber Optic Transmission Device:

MOLTU (Multiple Optical Line Terminating Unit) transmission device is used as the line terminating unit of fiber optic lines. The E1/E2/E3 interface traffic of MAGN/SGN switches located on the backbone of the Tactical Area Network solution are transmitted with MOLTU device to radio devices over fiber optic connection. The device ensures that E1, E2, E3 (2/8/34Mbps) and Data (10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet) signals are multiplied and transmitted over fiber optic media.

ISDN Terminal:

These are user terminals designed to perform voice, data and video transmission through the ISDN-BRI connection. Voice connection is made with the hand set over Digital Terminal. Synchronous/asynchronous circuit-switched data terminals can be connected to the data connectors on the housing. The device can be fed over the connected line or DC connection is available for operating on long lines. The Digital Terminal is easily portable, able to operate in the terrain and it is Category 1 compatible.

ADSL Terminal:

Meets the Internet Protocol communication needs of users. Three 10 Mbps speed Ethernet ports are used for IP communication. The device can switch Ethernet packages with Ethernet switch feature and can route the packages to ADSL links. It is designed to resist extreme environmental conditions.

Netaş develops Vessel Communication Systems customized for the requirements of various surface and underwater platforms of the Naval Forces Command. The system provides secure/insecure voice and data communication including internal communication for intra-vessel and external communication for inter-vessel or vessel-to-shore communication.

4.5G Macro Base Station

The 4.5G Macro Base Station developed by Netaş consists of Baseband Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Unit (RRU). The 4.5G Base Station is compliant with 3GPP standards. The product has the Release 11 that meets mobile broadband data needs in Commercial and Public Communication and Netaş is among the few companies worldwide that offer this product.

Wimax Base Station

The prototype product developed with TÜBİTAK TEYDEB support has the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) which is LTE's core technology. It is developed as software-based over 3-core DSP and operating in the WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) frequency range, and it also features frequency hopping property.

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)

A software-based Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver to operate in a wide range, from stationary platforms to platforms with high dynamics. The system generates high-precision position and time information from low-power signals, using signal processing methods in high platform dynamics such as 1500 m/s speed and 10 g acceleration.

IFF MODE 5/S (Identification-Friend-or-Foe) System

The IFF Mode 5/S System has been developed to meet the Identification-Friend-or-Foe need of the Turkish Armed Forces on various platforms. The system uses IFF equipment with high identification capabilities and the more reliable Mode/5S features. IFF systems, known as identification-recognition friend-foe systems, play an important role in military air surveillance and navigation control, air defense systems, maritime and coastguard security controls and acquire target information (altitude, tail number, task etc.).

The IFF Mode 5/S System consists of 3 basic units: Inquirer, Responder and Remote Control Unit. The inquirer unit generates queries for the targets to be identified. The responder at the target replies the received inquiry with another signal specifying the identity. Responses received by the inquirer are evaluated to detect the status of the target. The Remote Control Unit is used to remotely control the responder.

ADLN-200 (Airborne Datalink and Networking) can be mounted on platforms with various speeds, ranging from slow platforms to platforms at twice the speed of sound. These platforms can perform data transmission by establishing a common network, without a central control and user intervention. In addition to transferring its own data, the system can also perform relay transfer function in order to transfer the data of neighboring platforms.

APCO25 Switching System

The APCO25 Switching System has been developed to meet the radio communication requirements of Public Security and Emergency Aid organizations. It allows fast, reliable and real-time communication at city centers and rural areas in an uninterrupted manner and a wide coverage.
